Services for schools
Behavioural patterns already develop in early childhood. Therefore, it is never too early to talk about money. Three Coins has developed specific formats for both primary school students and youth to take the first steps towards a sustainable money attitude.
Reading “Geld zu verkaufen” (Money for Sale)
One-hour readings for children from 6 to 10 years.
Already at primary school age one can discuss topics related to money with children – after all, everybody has desires, fears and dreams. During our reading, we address these issues and discuss different aspects of money in an open atmosphere.
Digital lesson on money for primary schools
The Money Class is a ready-to-use lesson that helps teachers to teach financial education competently, effectively and yet with little effort. The Money Class materials include a video that accompanies the entire lesson, a detailed lesson plan and ready-made working materials. In this way, we make it possible for students from the lower school to have a successful introduction to the topic of “dealing with money”.
Financial Competency Workshops
2.5-hour workshops for teens from 13 to 17 years.
During these workshops, we put an emphasis on self-reflexion regarding one’s own consumer and spending behaviour. In addition, we convey basic skills for a sustainable money management in a playful way and with examples close to real life. Topics that we discuss and work on with the students are budgeting, consumerism, indebtedness and the digital world.
KARDEA! – the prize for financial education projects
In cooperation with the ERSTE Foundation, the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and the Erste Financial Life Park and under the patronage of the Federal Ministry of Finance, we have launched KARDEA! – the first Austria-wide prize for financial education in schools. It contributes to bringing exceptional project ideas and innovative approaches in financial education to the forefront and spreading them further. The submission period runs annually from October to February.
Playful introduction to the capital market
Basic knowledge of the capital market is becoming increasingly important in today’s world. Together with the Vienna Stock Exchange and the serious gaming experts from ovos, we have created an online challenge on the topic of pension provision and investing for the Erste Financial Life Park. In six exciting modules, students aged 14 and over learn why the topic of investment is important, what shares & co. are all about and what needs to be considered before starting to invest.
